COLOR MATCHING

Color matching is not an exact science. Therefore, it may not be 100% accurate & cannot be guaranteed.

Paint touch-up is necessary at one time or another for pretty much all homeowners. There are few options to do that:

Option 1: Remove a sample (square shape around 4 x 4 inches) from your wall & have it color matched.

Option 2: Use an electronic color matcher (handheld color analyzers like the Color Reader or the Color Muse)

Option 3: Use a paint matching app Download the app to your smartphone, take a photo of the paint you want to match and upload it. The app will tell you what the closest color match is.

Exterior Painting

Exterior painting is one of the most important home maintenance project. Often just a simple paint and caulking is all that is needed to stop damages from the weather and water. Sometimes neglected flaking paint can lead to siding replacement costs.

Any Exterior Painting Job require a soft washing first to remove any chalk, dirt or mildew that appear with the time. Investing upfront always pays back in the long run. It is important that the exterior is clean, dull and dry before painting.

The most common and frequent exterior painting is needed for the shutters, trim and gutters.

SHUTTERS

Most of the vinyl shutters are paintable. Some vinyl shutters weathered to the point of peeling off the whole shutter in many tiny pieces. In this case the only solution is to sand the old paint off as much as you can and repaint the shutters. They will hold the new coat of paint very well for many years.

EXTERIOR TRIM

Painting exterior trim is a slow process that consumes a lot of time. Diligence and patience are also needed. Usually trim painting will keep the house looking fresh and clean. Most people prefer to paint their exterior trim a different color than the siding, this way you can boost your home’s curb appeal.

GUTTERS

Colorful, clean gutters can make a big difference in the beauty of your home. Oil-based paint is based on aluminum. Masonry usually requiers for latex-based paint.Pools require special cement-based products.

Drywall Repair

Drywall repair encompasses a wide range of problems that include:

  • nail pops
  • holes from doorknobs
  • major repairs like water damage
  • cracks caused by a settling foundation

After all thhe drywall repairs are done a new coat of paint will be needed to give the wall its final appearance.

Bathtub Re-glazing

With the time and not taking proper care, some bathroom fixture, such as bathtub, countertops, sinks start showing their wear and tear and start looking dated.

One of the best solutions in this case could be re-glazing the fixtures.

Bathtub re-glazing is a cost-effective bathroom makeover alternative to replacing a bathtub that has seen better days or it is simply the wrong color.

Power Washing Services

Make your home and business appearance look like new again with a simple power washing.

Cleaning the exterior of your home helps slowing down the day to day damage caused to your home. The build-up of dirt and grime will peel away paint and start to damage your walls. If not washed periodically, mold and mildew can start to build up. The powerful stream of water will effectively clear everything away without damaging the paint or building. When you pressure wash your surfaces you won’t have to replace decks, walls, fences, etc.

DECK & PATIO WASHING

Decks and patios are wonderful addition to the house. They add beauty and comfort to any space, where you can spend time outdoors.

Decks and patios are exposed to weather condition all year round. Therefore, it is necessary to establish an annual cleaning  and maintenance to protect your deck and prevent further expensive repairs.

FENCE & SIDING WASHING

Fences are great addition to any property. They give you protection and privacy.

Fences and sidings are exposed to the elements all year round too. Yearly pressure washing cleaning is recommended to have the fences in good shape and appearance.

DRIVEWAY WASHING

Driveways are exposed to pets, oils, dirt, natural elements all year round. Left untreated, they can accumulate stains. In some cases, mold and mildew can grow, which is harmful to children to be around. The main benefits of a clean driveway are overall curb appeal, better value of your home, no stais.

HOUSE WASHING

Your house is one of your largest investments. The exterior of your house is really important, because it keeps your from heat/cold, as well as natural elements.

If not washed regulary, mold, mildew, and dirt can gather on the sidings. Power washing cleans away the built-up grime on your house and increases the life of your paint, walls, gutters, etc.

ROOF WASHING

Proper roof maintenanca can increase the overall roof life. The dark stains and streaks on the roof impact the beauty of the home and curb appeal.

Soft wash roof cleaning technique is used to remove thr ugly algae stains with no risk of damage to the roof shingles.

Floor Installation

CARPET INSTALLATION

Carpet is one of the most popular and affordable flooring solutions. It is a textile floor covering. The pile was originally made from wool, but nowadays synthetic fibers like polyester, polypropylene or nylon are often used, as these fibers are less expensive than wool.

It is a great option for areas with low traffic. It provides warm look to fit any stile or design.

LVF INSTALLATION

Luxury Vinyl Floor (LVF) can be

  • LVP (Luxury Vinyl Plank) look like planks of hardwood floors
  • LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile) looks like Tile or natural stone
  • EVP (Engineered Vinyl Plank) has an incredibly realistic hardwood look and is exceptionally durable

LVF is an affordable, waterproof or water-resistant, wood-look flooring option.

Most of the Luxury Vinyl flooring is wear and scuff resistant, really easy to clean and maintain.

TILE INSTALLATION

Floor tiles usually combine beauty with durability. They are great for high-moisture areas in your home such as bathroom, kitchen, laundry room, mud room, entry way, etc.

Installing tiles is a multi-step process that can take up to few days, depending on the space and the size of your project.

The tile flooring has high-end look and variety. They are tough, resist scratches, dents, scuffs, stains, etc., as well as extremely low maintenance – a  damp rag or mop is all you need to wipe them clean.

Water Damage and Restoration

When you experienced a water event, you need to take immediate action.

Unfortunately, even small amount of water can lead to mold, warped wood and stained walls if not treated quickly.

Emergency response is needed right the way in order to save your belongings.

The Cause of Water Damage

The most common causes of water damages are:

  • Water heaters
  • Leaks from appliances (garbage disposals, dishwashers, toilets)
  • Sump pump failure
  • Storm drain backup
  • Water sprayed to extinguish fires
  • Natural disaster (hurricane/tornado)

  • Leaky roofs

  • Faulty plumbing

First Action Steps

  • Shut off any water source, if the water damage is caused by active leak. Otherwise, make sure all the water is collected and the leak doesn`t spread

  • Shut down the electrical breaker in damaged areas

  • Remove any electrical devices from the wet carpet or submerged areas

  • Remove all items that are in the flooded area

  • Call your insurance company ASAP.  All policies require that homeowners or businesses report their loss “as soon as reasonably possible.”

Water incidents can lead to stained walls, mold, rotting wood, rusted steel, de-laminating of materials such as plywood, and many others if not treated on time.

In a water event, professional water damage restoration could be needed, in areas such as drywall repair; floor replacement, etc.

However, the home owners insurance covers many water events.

Mold Remediation and Removal

We know mold removal can be a difficult and dangerous process, but it protects the health of you, your family, or your employees.

Here, at One Stop, we can help you to find the root of the problem and solve it in no time.

What Can Cause Mold?

A mold is a fungus that can grow:

  • in places with a lot of moisture (around leaks in roofs, windows, or pipes, or where there has been flooding)

  • on paper products, cardboard, ceiling tiles, and wood products

  • in dust, paints, wallpaper, insulation, drywall, carpet, fabric, and upholstery

Health Risks of Mold:

Some people are sensitive to mold and exposure to damp and moldy environments may cause some health effects troubles, like:

  • eye irritation

  • nasal stuffiness

  • throat irritation

  • coughing or wheezing

  • skin irritation, etc.

Mold remediation steps:

  • Mold Inspection – identifying moldy areas as well as the source of the problem.
  • Mold Containment – The affected area is closed off to avoid contaminating the rest of the property.
  • Air Filtration and Air Scrubber – HEPA filters will be used to clean the air of mold spores and other particles. Wearing goggles and masks is extremely important to lessen any exposure to airborne contaminants.
  • Mold Removal – all affected materials need to be removed. Nonporous materials can be cleaned. Sealants may be used to make treated areas more resistant to water and mold. You may need to have your heating and air conditioning systems professionally cleaned as well.
  • Repair – The reconstruction process will begin after all mold-contaminated materials are removed.
  • Mold Testing – the last step will be post inspection to make sure any signs of recurrent water damage, moldy odors or visible mold are gone, and the cleanup has been complete.
